See that little cutie in the middle? That's Jonas Paul! It's easy for us to get swept up in the day-to-day tasks that keep us busy here at JPE (like filling all of your awesome orders!), but we love taking a step back and remembering WHY we are here. Jonas was born with a rare eye condition called Peter's Anomaly, which left him nearly blind at birth. Many prayers and 21 surgeries later, his vision was restored to a functional level, but not without the help of glasses. When Ben and Laura (his parents, pictured here!) found out he would need glasses, they searched high and low for stylish, affordable kids glasses but came up empty-handed. So, like all brand-new parents, they begin their own venture 😉 Fast forward just over 6 years and you'll find Jonas Paul Eyewear as it is today. We love being able to help kiddos feel confident and comfortable in their glasses, and love when you guys share your happy stories with us! On top of our excitement to be building a community of confident, stylish kiddos, we are passionate about donating a portion of each sale to help prevent childhood blindness around the world. Sometimes that means donating glasses, but sometimes providing Vitamin A or a simple vaccine can keep an entire family from going blind. We are so thankful for YOU to have joined our community and come alongside us to build a supportive, safe space where we can encourage each other ❤️
